Module 5: Quake, Bake, and Shake
A Study of the Active Earth
Description
In this module students will learn about the structure of the planet
Earth and how it is changing through seafloor spreading, the movements
of crustal plates, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions. Students
will discover the effect of temperature on chemical solubility,
the importance of limiting factors in the growth of populations,
and the characteristics of earthquake-resistant buildings.
