Module 7: Making Waves
A Study of Light and Sound
Description
In this module students will learn about waves and wave phenomena.
Students will study the general characteristics of waves, including
frequency, amplitude, and wavelength, through the example of mechanical
waves in water and strings. Students will apply these principles
to other kinds of waves, including sound, visible light, and the
rest of the electromagnetic spectrum.
Investigations
For each investigation, the science or sciences that form the principal
focus of that investigation are noted.
