Reading, YES! Online for grades 4-8 has 8 individual online modules. Each module contains video, interactive content, and a variety of online learning tools. Online learners watch video clips of educational commentary and classroom video delivered over the Web. Tools, such as a glossary, standards links, and lists of Web resources, are included throughout. Module content encourages online learners to discuss or share ideas with others in their online community through the discussion board.

Through Reading, YES! online learners will study about issues of older students, gain understanding of English Language Development and the stages of language acquisition, and develop instructional strategies important to vocabulary, comprehension, writing, and reading in the content area.

This online program is available in two formats: instructor-led or self-paced. An electronic portfolio, which records the learners' responses throughout the module, is available to verify course completion. University credit is available.
