 "The Culture of Iceland"

Introduction
In this chapter you studied the Scandinavian countries of Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland. Geologically, Iceland is the world's youngest country. Sitting on top of a fault in the Atlantic Ocean, this island nation is the result of thousands of years of volcanic eruptions. The people who live here have developed a culture as unique as their island home.

4. Prior to Christianity what was the religion of most Icelanders?


5. Click the Pix box on the left of the screen. Browse though the picture gallery of Iceland. Pretend that you work for an American business that has offices in Iceland. Your job is to prepare a guide for employees who will be assigned to the Reykjavik office. This guide should include information they will need to prepare for their stay in Iceland.
