Objective
- Familiarize
students with the well-known tourist sites,
national parks, and some of the natural wonders
of Peru and Bolivia as they plan a trip to either
country
Notes
- This
activity reinforces the cultural information
on Machu Picchu presented in the Descubrimiento
cultural on pages 358-359 in the textbook.
- After
students have decided which country they would
like to visit, they have to plot their itinerary
on the appropriate map on their worksheet. If
the students can't find all the places they
plan to tour, they should circle as many as
they can find and then highlight the general
area they will be visiting.
Expansion
- Have
students make a travel brochure for their tour
or trip.
