Objective

To identify the countries of the Spanish-speaking
world, their main cities, rivers, mountains,
the surrounding countries, and bodies
of water, and locate them on a map
Notes
-
You may wish to do this activity in conjunction
with the reading La Geografía
in the Conexiones section of the
textbook, pages 34-35, which teaches the
Spanish terms for geographical features
such as river, ocean, island, etc.
- If
Internet access is limited in your school,
you can do this activity in class using
the maps on pages 463-465 of your textbook
(Part A, pages 237-239).
- You
may assign only one map from this activity;
however, feel free to have students work
on two, or all three, maps of the Spanish-speaking
world provided for this activity.
