Aurelio and Francisco Flores
Mexico, contemporary

Aurelio and Francisco Flores are father and son, respectively, who worked
collaboratively for many years creating Mexican clay art sculptures. At the age of
ten, Francisco began working on clay art with his father, and they continued their
partnership until Aurelio’s death in 1986.

The Flores family became well known for their expressive clay works that reflect the
style and traditions of their ancestors.
