Native North America

Native Americans work in many arts and crafts. For the most part, they have created
everyday objects that are attractive, as well as useful. Artforms include basketry,
carving (sculptures, wooden masks), metalwork (hammered copper), weaving, and
painting. Painting is usually combined with other arts (e.g., pottery with painted
designs).
