Task
- Research information about the 50 states and compare them to each other using ratios and percents.
- Create a presentation that displays the data you have gathered about the fifty United States.
Process
1a. Create a chart that has all 50 states, the population of each state, the number of females, the number of males, and the age break down of each state.
1b. Choose 10 states and compare the number of females to males with 10 other states using ratios.
1c. Find the percent of the population that is over the age of 60 in 15 states.
1d. Find the percent of the population that is under the age of 19 in another 15 states.
2. Create a presentation that shows the information you have found about the fifty United States' populations. Be sure to include statistical displays and a spreadsheet.
