Task
  1. You have been hired to design a mascot or logo for your school. Using your knowledge of symmetry, transformations, and numbers make the best design. Also, you will need to find the price it will cost to make the mascot or logo.
  2. Create a presentation that explains in description your design of the mascot or logo. Be sure to include drawings and coordinate graphs with your presentation.
Process
    1a.  Brainstorm about 5 to 8 different ideas. Then narrow your list down to your number one choice.
    1b.  Use the Internet to estimate the cost of your mascot or logo. You will need to look up the materials on the Internet that are needed to assemble the design.
    1c.  Create a table that includes all of the materials and the cost per unit of each item.
    1d.  Write your cost and profit equations.

    2.  Write a 1-2 paragraph explanation describing your design. Make sure to note if it has symmetry or any use of transformations. Also include drawings of your mascot or logo.

Guidance
    1a.  To help with brainstorming, think of mascots or logos that you have seen and have stuck out in your mind. Then work off of them, making changes to adapt your own ideas.
    1b.  When creating your profit and cost equations, refer to Chapter 12 in your text.
