  1. From the list below, chose one location for you and your family of 4. You have a maximum of 7 days for the trip. Your family has a budget of $6,000. Find how far it is from your house and calculate the cost it is to drive and/or fly. Find a hotel and tourist attractions and while using the family budget, plan a 3 day itinerary.
  2. Create a presentation that will include the different components of your family's vacation.

    1a.  When searching for activities to participate in, type the name of the place you will be visiting into the search engines. Looking for a city or state's Web page is always a good idea.
           Also, look at your lodging Web site and see if it has any suggestions about activities to participate in.
    1b.  When calculating the cost of transportation, use the following table to organize the miles and cost of gas.
