The Data Charts have been created using Microsoft® Excel® 2003, a widely available spreadsheet program that is part of the Microsoft® Office® suite. Many of the tools that Excel provides may be used to search ornavigate.
Each Data Chart is made up of a table that breaks down data by state (or, in Data Chart 6, by nation). Selected portions or extensions of this data are shown graphically in the chart that appears just above the table.
