Writer’s Workspace supports Differentiated Instruction to help all learners acquire the language usage skills necessary to be effective communicators. Research-based techniques and ongoing scaffolding of skills help all learners improve their mastery of the TEKS. The specific needs of each type of learner are targeted, ensuring that all students reach their goal.

  • Challenge Workshops provide students with writing activities where scaffolding has been removed to challenge and extend students writing development.
  • ELPS correlations in the Online Teacher Guides support classroom instruction and ensure ELPS coverage.
  • Speaking and Listening activities are designed for all levels. These activities are especially helpful for struggling readers who may need strategies for active listening, group discussion, and presenting.
