Logging and Time Management Programs

Programs of this type monitor where a user goes and/or how much time is spent on the computer. They give students the freedom to access whatever they want on the Internet, but allow adults to see where the students have been and to control their computer time.

Net-Monitor http://www.netmonitor.com logs all pages that were visited with the Web browser. The program logs the title of the Web page and its date and time. A password is required to change the program options or exit.

WatchDog http://www.watchdog.com is a computer time-management program. When a user logs onto the computer, an internal clock starts counting down the useršs available time. When the time runs out, WatchDog can shut down or restart Windows, restart the computer, or display the WatchDog login form.
