About ISBN Numbers

The International Standards Organization and the International Standard Book Number (ISBN) Agencies are imposing a change in the ISBN, the unique number used to identify each edition of every published book/product. Effective January 1, 2007 our industry is moving from a 10-digit ISBN to a 13-digit ISBN.
To accommodate existing customers and products, we have relabeled the 10-digit ISBN "MHID" (McGraw-Hill Identifier). You can search the E-catalog portion of this site using either the ISBN or the MHID. By selecting your preferences on the page, you can choose to view the price lists with either the ISBN or the MHID.
